The Graduate Certificate in Dairy Herd Health, has been designed as a direct response to the challenges facing Ireland's dairy industry in the 21st century. In the complex milieu of the modern dairy farm, it is the interaction of diseases, their relationship with nutritional strategy and housing environment and the fundamental influence of social and attitudinal factors that make prevention and control of these diseases such a challenge.
The programme is delivered part-time via distance learning. They offer pusy veterinarians the opportunity to participate in education and enjoy the benefit of:
- studying online at a time and place that is flexible
- joining an online community to exchange knowledge and ideas
- working in groups online to solve a range of current herd problems
- apply new learning experiences to professional practice.
