Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management

Many veterinary graduates will work in SMEs where they will need to employ staff, comply with taxation and other regulatory requirements as well as purchase and sell services and products.  The Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management is a direct response to these challenges aiming to enable veterinary practitioners to excel at practice management as a result of receiving training in areas of finance, law and communication. This programme will help vets to run cost effective and efficient businesses, maximizing profitability while enhancing employee and client satisfaction

The programme is designed to offer busy vets/vet nurses/practice managers the opportunity to participate in part-time education and enjoy the benefit of:

•    Studying online at a time and place that is flexible,
•    Joining an online community to exchange knowledge and ideas,
•    Working in groups online to solve a range of practice management issues
•    Applying new learning experiences to professional practice.

Online delivery model is tried and has proven to be a great success with the Graduate Certificate in Herd Health. The first session held in UCD to familiarise students with the online learning environment so no need for you to be a ‘techie’, we’ll show you what you need to know.
