New Graduate Certificates on Offer
Two new Graduate Certificates are now accepting applications: The Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management & Graduate Certificate in Equine Sports Medicine.

The programmes are designed to offer you the opportunity to participate in part-time education and enjoy the benefit of:

The Graduate Certificate in Equine Sports Medicine is suitable for veterinary surgeons already in equine practice or who wish to pursue a career in equine sports medicine. The programme will equip vets with the necessary skills to fully investigate and treat poor performance in the equine athlete. Students will explore recent developments on key subjects specific to athletic performance including genetics, exercise physiology, adaptation of the body to systems to athletic training, evaluation of poor performance and the treatment of diseases and injuries that impact on athletic performance. The Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management is a direct response to the challenges facing veterinary practitioners running a profitable business. Many veterinary graduates will work in SMEs, where they will need to employ staff, comply with taxation and other regulatory requirements as well as purchase and sell services and products. The Cert will equip veterinary practitioners and nurses with the necessary business skills to respond to these challenges and excel at practice management and communication.
