Reptile Village Zoo visits UCD
Students on the exotic animals elective module had the opportunity to meet some reptiles at close quarters this semester. The animals, kindly provided by the Reptile Village zoo in Gowran, Co. Kilkenny, included a boa constrictor, a snapping turtle and an iguana.
James and Danny, owner and manager of the Reptile Village, demonstrated handling techniques for these reptiles with a view to ensuring safety and welfare of the animals and their handlers.
