WAC-6 Accompanying Persons Programme

Accompanying Persons Fee €140.00and includes a ticket for each of the following events:
Please note that accompanying persons may not attend scientific sessions, present a paper or be a co-author
    
Sunday 29th June  – Welcome Reception:       
The official opening ceremony and welcome reception will take place in O’Reilly Hall of UCD.  This evening will provide an opportunity for delegates to meet in a relaxed environment and catch up with old friends. 

Monday 30th June - State Reception:
A state reception will be held in the 17th Century Royal Hospital Kilmainham.  This historic and tranquil haven is set on 48 acres and boasts stunning formal gardens. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Wednesday 2nd July - Mid Congress :
These are full day tours which will be attended by most congress participants. The cost is included in the accompanying persons fee and includes: coach travel, English speaking guide, entrance to all monuments/venues and lunch. Each tour has a limited number of places, which will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please choose from one of the following mid congress tours in the accompanying persons page on the registration form:

Tour 1: Brú na Bóinne – the Boyne Valley.
Tour 2: Kilkenny - The Fair City
Tour 3: Tara and Navan – Royal Landscapes
Tour 4: Midlands landscapes – presenting the past
Tour 5: Dublin – from Norse foundation to Georgian capital
