Dr. Jennifer Mitchell is a lecturer in the School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Sciences since 2009. Her lab investigates the role of bacterial glycolipids in the pathogenesis of bloodstream infections.
Dr. Sheila McBreen is a lecturer in the School of Physics since 2008. Her research is in the area of space science, astrophysics and atmospheric physics.
Dr. Patricia Maguire is a senior lecturer in the School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Sciences, appointed in 2007. Her research is in the area of platelet and megakaryocyte biology and their role in inflammatory disease.
Dr Maria Meehan is a senior lecturer in Mathematics in the School of Mathematical Sciences. She first started in UCD in 1997 and has been a permanent member of staff since 2000. Her research interests are in mathematics education, specifically in the area of the teaching and learning of mathematics at the third level.
Dr Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin is a lecturer in the School of Mathematics & Statistics since 2014. Her research interests are in mathematics education, specifically focusing on teacher education and the transition between post-primary and third level, and in science communication.
