Writing Centre Officially Launched (January 2016)

UCD Writing Centre was officially launched on Wednesday 27th January in the James Joyce Library. The Centre opened in the new location and under the new name (UCD Writing Centre) in October 2015, and has already seen a considerable increase in the number of student visits.

Writing Centre hosts its first reading (April 2016)

Robert M. Dowling, American critic and author of Eugene O'Neill: A Life in Four Acts, was invited to read from his new book. The reading was co-hosted by James Joyce Library, UCD Humanities Institute and the Writing Centre, and it turned to be an informative and entertaining evening. Our guest of honour was the President himself, Mr Michael D. Higgins, a fan of Eugene O'Neill's work.
