Annual General Meeting

This AGM, the 28th of the ICCS, gives the membership a say in the running of our Society, and an opportunity to become involved in the Committee of the Society through nomination and election. All members are urged to attend.

Details and requests for Motions and nominations to the Committee have been circulated to members by post.

Saturday June 7th

"A New Look at the Chinese Slope"

- a visit to the Botanic Gardens, when the Handkerchief Tree is in bloom, with Seamus O'Brien as our guide.
Seamus gave us a wonderful talk in March on the Botanic Gardens expedition to China, in the footsteps of Augustine Henry. We are very grateful to him for agreeing to conduct this tour. The date for this visit has now been fixed as Saturday 7th June. We will meet at 11.00am at the Information Centre in the Education Building, and all are invited.
Please advise our Hon. Programme Officer, Jane Almqvist at Tel: 4977206 if you would like to take part.
There is a full restaurant in the Botanic Gardens, so a coffee or lunch afterwards is an additional attraction.

PLEASE NOTE: The date for our annual Barbecue has been set for September 7th - this will kick off our Autumn programme, and full details will be in our Autumn Newsletter.

The Society has established an E-mail list to facilitate contacting members.
Events crop up between newsletters and members on the E-mail list can get an update on all these.
This list is entirely for the ICCS and will not be shared with any other entity.

If you would like to join this list, please send an E-mail to the Hon. Secretary at
iccs@oceanfree.net
and mark the subject      mail list.
