Support research on mental health among farmers

Mental_Health_Survey

Funded by the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention, here in the School of Agriculture & Food Science, Ms. Alison Stapleton, Dr. Tomás Russell, Prof. Louise McHugh, & Ms. Anne Markey are exploring factors impacting farmer well-being and distress. This important work aims to develop our understanding of farmers’ mental health and how we can best support farmers.

As part of this research, we are inviting people to complete an online questionnaire on well-being, distress, farm stress, and coping.

This takes approx 30 minutes on average.

Who can take part?

People aged 18+ who are based in Ireland and currently work on a farm (including occasional farm workers, farmholders, children/ spouses of farm holders, etc.).
