UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science returns to the National Ploughing Championships 2022

Sustainable Agri-Food Systems is the theme for the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science at the National Ploughing Championships 2022 (Block 3, Row 15, Stand 258).

Over the course of the three days, visitors can hear about the latest developments taking place in research and innovation within the school through a range of live experiments and short talks.

UCD and AgriAware will once again be co-located for 2022 and together will deliver an exciting programme of talks in the Big Green Shed on a range of topics including Careers in Agriculture, Leaving Certificate Study Guides, the Sustaining Ireland campaign and much more.

As the only university in Ireland with a school devoted to agriculture and food science, a visit to this stand is a must for anyone considering a career or further education in agriculture, forestry, horticulture, food science or human nutrition.

UCD offers a range of exciting programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education levels with staff and students available over the three days to discuss the wide range of options available.

With so many career opportunities available to graduates, the UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science are inviting Alumni to visit the stand and contribute to video testimonials that will provide an insight to prospective students on the wide range of career paths open to them.

A detailed schedule of activities will be available here over the coming weeks.
