UCD/Teagasc Walsh Scholarships 2020

Applications are now open for 2020 Walsh Scholarship Programme. 

Applications are now welcome for the two Walsh Scholarships Masters programmes for Agricultural Science graduates interested in careers in advisory and education. They include the UCD/Teagasc research Masters in Agricultural Innovation Support and the taught Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation.

Both programmes start in September 2020 with limited funded places available on each.  This research Masters Programme is a 21 month programme involving a 15 month placement in a Teagasc advisory office or agricultural college researching critical issues around the role of knowledge transfer in supporting farmer decision making and technology adoption. The taught Masters is a 24 month programme involving full time mentored placement in a Teagasc advisory office while completing modules using reflective and blended learning.

No. 6 - Farmer and advisor engagement in occupational health and safety
