Muckross Park Bugatto Scholarship

UCD recognises that the associated costs of attending third level may present a barrier for some applicants in pursuing a degree. UCD Access and Lifelong Learning, with generous support from UCD Foundation, offers a range of scholarships for students who are underrepresented at UCD.

This undergraduate Scholarship is open to new entrants to UCD (first years) who attended Dominican College, Muckross Park and have accepted an offer to study in UCD. Applicants must be entering a full-time undergraduate programme of study. 

Eligibility criteria 

Applicants are invited to apply for this Scholarship if they:

  • Have graduated from Dominican College, Muckross Park, Donnybrook, Dublin 4 
  • Demonstrate Socio-economic Disadvantage through a family income threshold of €45,790 or lower
  • Have entered UCD via on the following pathways:  HEAR; DARE; FET-QQI; University Access; Mature Years OR Are from an under-represented group currently in third level; including first-time mature students, Students from low-income families, Student with a disability, Asylum Seeker & Refugees, members of the Traveller Community or are from a One Parents family.
  • Are willing to act as a role model for future students
  • Are willing to complete a scholarship recipient feedback report at the end of each year.

How to Apply

To apply you should:

  1. Complete and submit an Online Application Form 
  2. Complete an Income Declaration Form and submit it along with the required supporting financial documentation. Please return this form and documentation to UCD Access and Lifelong Learning, Level 1 James Joyce Library Building, Belfield, Dublin 4.

The closing date for receipt of applications is Wednesday, 19 September 2019.
