ERASMUS & Non-EU Exchange

Every year, more than 70% of students from the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy avail of the opportunity to study for a semester in one of our partner schools in Asia, Australia, the US, but mostly in Europe.

The school has a strong and well-established reputation internationally. The programme has been very active at the international level, with an extensive Erasmus and International network of strong schools and regular visiting lecturers, critics and external examiners.

At UCD Architecture, MArch - Year 1 students choose to spend either a first or second semester in one of the many schools of architecture with which UCD has an exchange agreement. This provides them with an invaluable opportunity to experience architecture in a variety of cultural contexts.

Students should speak with UCD Global in the first instance who can advise on the various study abroad opportunities; where past students have studied and the application process and deadlines.
Students should speak with their Academic Exchange Coordinator for advice on module mapping only after the student has researched what courses to take at the host institution. They are;
