Endotoxin-free Nanomaterial Synthesis Facility
CBNI hosts a specialised facility for in-flow nanomaterial production and characterization under strictly sterile conditions. The facility has established standard operating procedures for endotoxin decontamination of reactors and conducts endotoxin contamination analysis & quantification. The operations of this facility ensure a high standard of nanomaterial synthesis for in vitro applications.
A wide array of nanoparticles (polymeric (polystyrene, thermo- and pH responsive, biodegradable etc.), SiO2, TiO2, Au, calcium phosphates) of well-defined properties (including mono-dispersity, range of sizes, structures, surface modifications) are synthesised regularly in the facility.
