Imaging Suite

Researchers at CBNI have full access to the imaging suite based at the UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research. Equipment include Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) for visualisation of nanomaterial size distribution and morphology, as well as confocal, spinning disk and fluorescence microscopy for use in intracellular and live cell imaging studies and High Content Analysis (HCA) for high-throughput screening of cell populations to study the impact of nanoparticles on cellular pathways.‌
