Public Transport to UCD

If you decide to stay in the city centre, the 39a bus will bring you directly into the campus, there are other buses which will leave you just outside the campus on the opposite side of the road e.g. 46A, 145. To plan your journey Transport for Ireland’s journey planner or the Moovit service can be very useful.

The Visitor Leap Card is a handy pay-as-you-go smart card for use on all public transport giving you unlimited travel for up to 7 days on Airlink, Dublin Bus and other Dublin commuter options. You can buy a Leap Card straight off the plane in the Dublin Airport Arrivals Hall or in any newsagent.
