UCD Health Affairs work together with the IEHG in the fight against COVID19
UCD Health Affairs works directly with UCD's Health Science Schools and the 11 hospitals of the (opens in a new window)Ireland East Hospital Group (IEHG) group to encourage collaboration on health strategies.
UCD Health Affairs was established in 2018 and forms part the College of Health and Agricultural Sciences.
Chief Academic Officer of the Ireland East Hospital Group and Vice Principal for Health Affairs Professor Tim Lynch leads the Office of Health Affairs at UCD. The office of Health Affairs is based at UCD and works closely with members of the IEHG and UCD on the establishment of Clinical Academic and Service Directorates, joint hospital and UCD research projects.
From the start of the COVID-19 crisis in Ireland UCD and the IEHG have been working together to support patients and staff.
