Assoc Prof Brougham's Research on Cover of Chemical Communications

The research of the NMR and Materials group, led by Associate Professor Dermot Brougham, was recently featured as a cover article in Chemical Communications. The paper describes a novel method to prepare size selectable magnetic nanoparticle assemblies with magnetic anisotropy tunable across the superparamagnetic to ferromagnetic range. These materials have properties that can be selected for biomedical applications and as components in magnetically responsive nanocomposites.
