Safety is of paramount importance to the UCD School of Chemistry and we ask that you take some time to review the information on this section of our Website.
All incoming Graduate students, visiting students and staff are required to complete the Safety Declaration Form before being allowed access to laboratories.

Hazardous waste produced in labs must be brought to the Stores compound using the lock-out lifts and placed in the designated areas:

Liquid nitrogen is used widely throughout the School and liquid helium is used in the NMR labs.
