Wednesday, 21 March, 2018

Andrii Sokolov was always keen on physics, engineering and computer science, so when he finished at the Richelieu Lyceum of Odessa (Ukraine, Odessa), he went on to get a master of Physics at Odessa National I.I. Mechnikov University. Upon completion of his masters program he spent 3 years working as a science assistant to Professor V. Adamyan.

He returned to the Richelieu Lyceum working as a school teacher and although he found it enjoyable he always wanted to improve his knowledge of engineering, so, he sought a corresponding PhD program which he found here at UCD.

His main research interest is Energy harvesting systems.
