Welcome

Professor Gregory O'Hare

Lead Principal Investigator

Digital agriculture holds great promise to increase food production while reducing inputs and environmental costs. University College Dublin is already a major centre of excellence in the agri-sciences and data analytics areas.

Building on that multi-disciplinary expertise, UCD has partnered with the leading agribusiness company, Origin Enterprises plc to develop the next generation of digital tools for use by the farmer and agronomist. CONSUS is a €17.6M programme over 5 years which is jointly funded by Science Foundation Ireland and Origin Enterprises.

We look forward to a long and productive collaboration with our industry partner Origin Enterprises plc as we jointly seek to create solutions which will transform arable agriculture in this century.
