Master’s Degree Programmes

MEconSc European Public Affairs and Law (SPIRe): An interdisciplinary degree covering European politics, economics, law and business.

MA Politics / MSc Politics (SPIRe): A masters degree with core and elective modules on european politics at the national and EU levels.

EMA European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation: An EU-funded programme on European human rights law and the EU’s role in human rights promotion, including one semester of coursework in Venice followed by one semester of thesis research at UCD or another partner institution.

LLM (Law): A Masters degree in Law offering the option to focus on European law.

Doctoral programmes:

PhD in Politics and International Relations (SPIRe): A research-oriented doctoral programme offering ‘European integration and governance’ as one of five subject specializations, plus systematic training in research methods.

Thematic PhD in European Law and Governance (joint Law-SPIRe): An interdisciplinary doctoral programme exploring EU governance themes from the perspectives of law and politics.
