Earth Day 2020: Flash Talk Competition
To celebrate Earth Day 2020, we held a flash talk competition forall of our post-grad and post-doc members. From protecting pollinators to Dutch environmental co-operatives, a range of fascinating topics were covered in bite-size, two-minute presentations. Organised in association with three of our associate members, Hannah White, Nicole Bieseigel and Katie Burns, and judged by Dr. Jon Yearsley, Dr. Noreen O'Meara and Prof. Jacky Croke, great fun was had by all. Congratulations to the Judge's Prize winner, Elise Alonzi of UCD School of Archaeology and to the Audience Choice winner Daniel Giles of UCD School of Maths and Statistics!
