More about our charities
Special Olympics Ireland is a year-round sports training and competition programme for people with an intellectual disability. UCD employees identified this charity as the one they would like to support following a process to establish an external charity of choice for the UCD community.
UCD Volunteers Overseas has to date supported over 1,500 UCD student volunteers to engage in environmental, educational, healthcare, construction and computer training projects in disadvantaged communities overseas.
UCD Champions Scholarship Fund allows UCD staff, alumni and friends to provide life-changing scholarships for students from disadvantaged communities who may otherwise not have the means to reach their potential, as well as students with a disability. The fund also provides vital student supports in other areas such as mental health.
