Culture & Engagement have again teamed up again with Healthy UCD, UCD Sports & Fitness and Weight Watchers to launch our 'Feelgood February' (and beyond!) programme of activities for employees. Following the very popular Step into Autumn programme we are bringing back our most popular classes, with a new venue option and hosting another social event at the end of the programme. We believe there is something for all employees in this programme. We also have a special employee offer if you want to move to the next level and join UCD Sport & Fitness.

Boot Camp logo

Healthy UCD Boot Camp (indoor) – Monday, Wednesday, Friday


Our ever popular bootcamp is back. Classes run indoors every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at lunchtimes. Suitable for all levels of fitness, the instructor led classes will incorporate arms/abs and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) workouts and a variety of other fitness exercises.

Healthy UCD Yoga – Wednesday, Thursday

Two courses will run on Wednesday (Sports Centre) & Thursday (Ashfield) lunchtimes for 8 weeks. Places are limited to 35 per class so sign up today.

Social Hurling - Tuesday

Social hurling….. No hurling/camogie experience necessary as focus is on learning hurling skills and fun. A new take on lunchtime fitness! Dust off your hurl, brush up on your skills and get active with social hurling for employees.

No hurling / camogie experience necessary and we had plenty of first-timers hurlers on our last programme! The sessions will involve a warm-up and some skills-based games with the aim of encouraging participation, aerobic fitness and having a bit of craic.

Employees new to hurling will get additional coaching to bring them up to speed. To ensure we can offer the broadest range of activities, participants will need to wear a helmet.

Healthy UCD Pilates – Tuesday, Thursday

Building on feedback from our pilot, platies returns with two courses which will run on Tuesdays (Ashfield) and Thursdays (Sports Centre). Places are limited to 45 per class so sign up today.

Weight Watchers

We are continuing to offer an employee-only Weight Watchers programme in UCD. This offering requires a minimum of 15 participants to proceed so register your interest today.
