Celebrating UCD's LGBTQ+ Community

Dr Catherine Zappone, Minister for Children and Youth Affairs officially launched UCD's Gender Identity and Expression Policy on the 22nd of February. The minister also awarded the Foy-Zappone Award to Tonie Walsh – Curator of the National LGBT “Queer” Archive.

The event also marked the 30th Birthday of the UCD Student LGBTQ+ Society and the 1st Birthday of the UCD LGBTI Staff Network. 

The event took place between 17:00 and 18:30 on Thursday 22nd February in the Moore Auditorium, UCD O'Brien Centre for Science.
