Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Annual Event

On Monday 21 November a UCD Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) event took place to celebrate Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in UCD and the work undertaken in this area by the many different groups, networks and areas across the University.

The Minister for Social Protection, Leo Varadkar, provided an inspiring and thought provoking talk on equality, diversity and inclusion in 2016 in front of over 200 employees and students. UCD President Andrew Deeks launched the first UCD Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Annual Report which reflects on the broad and impressive range of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion related activities that have taken place in UCD over the past year, and outlines the ambitious priorities that have been set in this area for the next year.
