UCD will join organisations across the globe in marking International Women’s Day again this year. This year’s theme is “Be Bold for Change”.  

Through conversation and celebration, we will be pledging our support to help forge gender equality on International Women’s Day and beyond.

The conversation will cover Grainne's leadership journey over the past 40 years in social activism and then more recently her leadership of the Yes Equality Campaign.

Conversation: Speakers in the Moore Auditorum are: Professor Orla Feely, Professor Colin Scott, Dr Sinead Critchley, Professor William Gallagher and Students Union Welfare Officer Róisín Ni Mhara.

Celebration: At 1.30pm there will be a special preformance by the UCD Community Choir. Light lunch provided.
