The World at UCD
With over 130 nationalities represented within the student body, UCD seeks and supports diverse voices. While distinctly Irish, UCD has a global outlook, and is an intellectual destination for students, faculty, and staff from every region to study, teach, and work. As well as amenities like five woodland walks across the parkland campus, students benefit from some of the best learning, sport, and social facilities in the world.

As Ireland’s global university, UCD is currently ranked within the top 1% of institutions worldwide, with a top 50 in the world QS subject ranking in English Language & Literature and Veterinary Science, and a top 100 ranking in several subjects. Our Staff
UCD, through its academic staff, has a long established tradition of excellence in teaching. We provide innovative and high quality programmes adaptive to the current and future learning needs of our students and graduates. The UCD faculty is increasingly international (25% of UCD staff come from outside Ireland). There is a rich diversity of backgrounds to complement UCD’s diversity of academic disciplines.
