About UCD Graduate Studies

Graduate Studies is a developmental unit responsible for the growth and continuous improvement of graduate study in UCD. The unit is dedicated to excellence in graduate research, providing an overall doctoral framework and development programme for research students, and supporting Schools to provide a holistic educational experience. Graduate Studies also provides support and guidance for research supervisors and plays an important role in governance via the Graduate Research Board.

Graduate Research Board

The Graduate Research Board has the remit of all graduate research students at UCD, enabling consolidated and consistent graduate research governance, as well as increasing the capacity for effective oversight of graduate research education. The Board is chaired by Professor Barbara Dooley and Board support is provided by the Graduate Studies team.
