Prof Michaela Higgins has been appointed as Clinical lead for the Cancer Directorate within MMUH. A Cancer Directorate Operations manager has also been appointed (Paula O’Reilly) and Nurse Manager recruitment is in progress. A Clinical Lead, Operations manager and Nurse manager are to be appointed at SVUH. The CaCAD is working with the Cancer Data management structures in both MMUH & SVUH to align datasets and streamline reporting requirements. A Cancer Data Workshop took place on March 13th to define basic minimum high-level reporting requirements to allow reporting of activity and volume at a group level. Priority was given to collating preliminary data for the CaCAD 2018 Cancer Review report.
