The Festival committee now invite Conway researchers and associated partners in academic & clinical sites at (opens in a new window)SVUH(opens in a new window)MMUH(opens in a new window)OLHSC(opens in a new window)NMH to submit abstracts for presentation at the 2021 UCD Conway Festival.

Submit abstracts to (opens in a new window)conway.festival@ucd.ie with '2021 Festival Gold Medal' in the subject line
Deadline: 5pm, Monday, 16 August 2021

Submitting authors will be selected for either review or moderated poster sessions and must be available on Wednesday, 06 October to discuss their work. The 2021 Conway Festival Medal sponsored by (opens in a new window)Cruinn Diagnostics will be awarded for the best poster and presentation.

Shortlisted authors will give a 5 minute outline of research work including mention of any innovative potential to a committee including plenary speakers, Conway Fellows & UCD colleagues in a moderated poster session (2pm, 06 Oct).

Winners in each category will give a 5 minute oral presentation of their work in a dedicated Festival session (2pm, 07 Oct). 

Authors not shortlisted are invited to give 5 minute outline of research to a 2-person panel composed of senior postdoctoral researchers and/or Conway Fellows in a general review poster session (11.30am, 06 Oct).
