Physical Activity and Movement
Being physically active is so important for our health and well-being with lots of benefits including a lower risk of; early death, stroke, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and weight gain.
You can start encorporating more movement into your life through doing simple things such as taking the stairs instead of the lift, getting off the bus a few stops earlier and/or leaving the car at home one or two days a week and walking if possible. There are plenty of small, simple changes that can be made to increase movement levels which will have a postive impact on your health.
