Employee File Requests
Under the freedom of information act every employee of the university is entitled to see their employee file. The file contains all the relevant documentation showing the career path of an individual from their initial application for a position in the university up until they either become a pensioner or leave the university. Process for requesting your Employee File
- Step 1: Download and complete the Employee File Access Request Form.
- Step 2: Send the form to HRIS. This can be done by scanning and emailing it to HRhelpdesk@ucd.ie or by sending the request by post. Your completed form must be accompanied by a scan or copy of your photo ID (passport, driving licence or UCD staff card).
Note: All replies to employee file access requests will be dealt with by email. Please ensure you have a valid email address to receive a copy of your requested information.

We are here to help you with any queries on employee benefits, terms & conditions and HR policies & procedures. If we can’t help you directly we will refer your query to a HR specialist area.
