Culture and Engagement

The Culture and Engagement team are responsible for the delivery of a range of university wide initiatives and services which are designed to support the achievement of the university strategy and deliver the ambition of both employer and university of choice.

A central focus of the Culture and Engagement team will be the enablement of a working environment and culture where all faculty and staff can grow and achieve their full potential.  The specific deliverables of the team will include:

  • Development and roll-out of an employee engagement strategy
  • Oversight of the design and delivery of an annual employee survey and associated local action plans
  • Embedding best practice internal communications systems
  • Championing of equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Enhancement a progressive employee relations climate and development of associated policies and practices

These deliverables will be achieved through collaboration with other areas of the University to build a sense of community and to make UCD a great place to work, grow and develop.
