About Peter Fitzgerald

Peter Fitzgerald was born in Cork, grew up in St Louis and Seattle and moved to Ireland with his family in 1968. He attended St. Joseph's Secondary School and University College, Galway from which he graduated with a first class honours degree in psychology at the age of 19. He worked in Oxford for some time before moving to Munich. Subsequently, he was invited back to Oxford to continue research in psychology.  Fitzgerald is currently editor of the leading art magazine Circa. This is an online journal dedicated to contemporary art and its practices, seeking to chronicle significant events of the moment and to create an informed network of committed readers and contributors in Ireland and beyond. Fitzgerald is also an artist whose work is represented in collections in Ireland, Europe and the United States.
