Sibéal Davitt is a Gaeltacht UCD Irish language tutor and a sean nós dancer. She provides dance workshops for students attending Gaeltacht UCD courses. Here is Sibéal dancing on a special programme celebrating President Michael D. Higgins 80th birthday. ‘Sean-nós’ meaning ‘old-style’ is an Irish traditional percussive dance. Sean-nós is an improvised, solo dance and acts as an extension to Irish traditional music.
