Reminder: Password Protection policy came into affect 10 October

From Wednesday 10 October 2018, all UCD Connect passwords will be checked against the new IT Services Password Protection Policy. Passwords that don’t meet the new minimum password standards will be expired and you will see an expiry notification on login to all centrally authenticated services including Google Suite and the Virtual Learning Environments.
Expired passwords can still be used to access these services for a short period of time. If you do not change your password, IT Services will send you one reminder email before you lose access to services.
If your password is not unique to UCD systems or does not comply with the new policy, please change it now by going to UCD Connect and clicking on the password icon on the top right hand corner of the webpage. This will help protect your account and ensure you have continued access to service.
