TEL All -Technology Enhanced Learning ‘Conversations’ and Webinar Series

The TEL All 2020 Committee is delighted to bring to you the TEL All ‘Conversations’ and Webinar Series.

The TEL All ‘Conversations’ Series explores how UCD faculty experienced teaching and assessment during the emergency pivot to online learning. 

This new format supports faculty sharing their practice and reflecting on their delivery and assessment strategies, explaining what worked well for their students and the challenges they encountered. Through these recorded conversations they offer some useful tips to colleagues who are preparing to deliver blended and online learning for the upcoming trimester.

The TEL All Webinar Series aim to assist Faculty prepare their blended and online modules for the upcoming trimester and to complement related offerings by both IT Services and Teaching and Learning

These sessions will be delivered by School based Educational Technologists who will share their pedagogical and technical expertise. The lunchtime webinars will be delivered via the virtual classroom are intended to offer some practical and hand-ons advice from experts on topics such as;

  • Universal Design in Brightspace
  • Incorporating Online Learning Materials and Activities in Brightspace
  • Pre-recording Lectures and sharing them in Brightspace
  • Facilitating ‘live’ Lectures Online 
  • Utilising Discussion Forums in Brightspace
