Mathematica License for UCD

Tue, 16 July 19

UCD IT Services in conjunction with the UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics, UCD School of Physics and the College of Science are pleased to announce a site-wide license has been purchased for a period of three years (on a yearly renewal basis) for Wolfram Mathematica. The license entitles staff and students to download and locally install a copy of the software on UCD and personally owned machines, once they have a registered UCD address.

Mathematica is a state of the art technical computing environment that offers a single integrated, ever expanding system that is utilised as a tool for teaching and research. It is ideal for computation and visualization, authoring interactive documents, writing programs and creating mouse-driven models and is currently used by Maths, Physics and Computer Science at UCD, but has many diverse functions that may be of interest to Business, Engineering and others.
