UCD Website Redesign Project:
UCD IT Services have recently introduced a new set of templates for Colleges and School websites. The new page designs borrow on some themes from the new UCD homepage to ensure a consistent, user-friendly and functionally rich experience for visitors to our website.
The new web pages are developed to the highest technical and visual presentation standards and have been very well received on the school sites which have already adopted the new templates.

'Adopting the new university web design provided not just a fresh look and feel but also a much needed opportunity to reflect on our existing content and delivery. It has facilitated a reconsideration of what might be relevant to the users of the site, whether that be new visitors or existing students and staff.'
- Rob Sands, Department of Archaeology
'With more than a third of visitors using mobile devices to access information on our website, it was essential for us to move to a responsive design solution. We now have a clean, fresh website that looks just as good on mobile devices as it does on desktop‘
- Niamh Walsh, Marketing & Communications Manager, College of Social Sciences and Law
Other sites integrated include:
- College of Agriculture and Health Sciences
- School of Geography
- School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics
- School of Law
- School of Philosophy
- School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice
The pages also fulfill a critical requirement being fully mobile responsive and will also help meet our obligations under important Accessibility standards (e.g. for visitors to our website with a visual impairment).
The new sites are the product of a number of stakeholder workshops and are designed with flexibility in mind to meet the requirements of the diverse publishing community we have at UCD.
Please email email@example.com and a member of our support team will be happy to meet and discuss your website requirements.
