Prof Oonagh Breen appointed Chairperson of UCD Press Editorial Committee

Professor Oonagh Breen has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Editorial Committee of UCD Press.  Oonagh served as Vice Chairperson of the Editorial Committee from 2015-2020 under the former chairmanship of Professor Tony Fahey of UCD School of Social Policy.  Oonagh is joined in her new role by new Vice Chairperson, Professor Margaret Kelleher of UCD School of English, Drama and Film.  Founded in 1995, UCD Press is the publishing imprint of University College Dublin.  It publishes contemporary scholarly writing in a broad range of subjects including history, literary studies, music, science and more recently migration studies and gender studies. The Press has a special focus on Irish Studies. Its books are produced to the highest standards of design, editing, and printing while being distributed, marketed and publicised nationally and internationally.  In 2019 UCD Press entered into a publishing partnership with the University of Chicago Press, which now sees UCD Press titles more widely distributed, marketed and sold throughout North America.
