UCD Sutherland School of Law has forged relationships with over 50 leading universities worldwide, as well as international law firms and public institutions throughout Europe.  These relationships enable the exchange of ideas in areas of global challenges and opportunities for students and academics.

Through these institutions, UCD Sutherland School of Law can offer student exchange programmes to international universities, modules of study overseas, and field trips to international legal conferences.  These experiences of different cultural and political contexts for law and the global environment is a career-enhancing experience for those students that can participate.  However, these opportunities are only available to less than 30% of students for personal financial reasons, widening the disadvantage gap between cohorts of students in the same class.

UCD Sutherland Opportunity seeks to provide any student with financial difficulties, that wishes to participate in international academic programmes, with an International Field Trip Bursary.
