Young refugees and asylum seekers can face many barriers to accessing higher education. We aim to break down those barriers by providing support and opportunities to widen the participation of young displaced persons seeking sanctuary in Ireland with an opportunity to study at UCD Sutherland School of Law.
These supports need to extend beyond the academic. Intensive and individualised guidance sensitive to their specific needs, as well as financial and other practical support around transport and accommodation, works hand-in-hand with academic mentoring and peer-to-peer support.
