Important Notice:

From 6-19 August the access gates to the James Joyce Library will be replaced. The entrance/exit gates and Security Desk on Level 1 will be inaccessible for the duration of the project. We apologise for the noise and disruption that will occur on Level 1. Quieter study spaces are available in our other libraries and on other JJL floors.

A clearly-signposted alternate access route will be in place during this time.

Book returns can be made to the Smart Returns box just outside the James Joyce Library building, inside the JJL on Level 1 adjacent to the Service Desk, or to the Veterinary Medicine Building returns box.

Please Note: From 6 August to 19 August, external borrower cards will be unavailable. Temporary cards will be issued to eligible visitors permitting access only. Borrowing rights are not included.

15 August 2024: PLEASE NOTE: The Service Desk has now returned to its usual location on Level 1.
