In memory of Professor Milne Anderson (Posted: 30/11/2015)
The School of Mathematics and Statistics is sad to learn of the passing (on 20th November 2015) of Professor J Milne Anderson, Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at University College London.
Milne had strong links with Ireland over many years, including service as external examiner in mathematics for the NUI and on appointments boards at UCD. He will be warmly remembered for his wise advice and support, mathematical excellence and keen sense of humour.
