These programmes are paid per credit so the fees for academic year 2021/2022 are as follows:
- Professional Certificate: fee per credit is €103, programme consists of 10 credits =€1030
- Professional Diploma: fee per credit is €182.80, programme consists of 20 credits = €3656
- MSc: fee per credit is €134.80, programme consists of 30 credits per year = €4044 (note this is a three-year programme)

The Professional Diploma is 1 year long, delivered through 2 trimesters (September to following May)
The MSc is 3 years, delivered through 9 trimesters (Semesters 1, 2 and Summer term each year)
These programmes are offered part time online only.
This Online Professional Diploma and Online MSc are offered, delivered and supported by academics in the UCD School of Mathematical Sciences.
Both the Msc and Professional Diploma start in September. The Professional Certificate starts in May.
If you decide not to continue with the programme part of the way through, then you will have the option to exit with another qualification depending on how many credits you have completed:
2 modules (10 credit) = Professional Certificate
4 modules (20 credits) = Professional Diploma
6 modules (30 credits) = Graduate Certificate
12 modules (60 credits) = Graduate Diploma
18 modules (90 credits) = MSc
N.B There is no option to apply for the above mentioned directly except the Professional Diploma and MSc.
