Dr. Aisling NiAnnaidh Receiving Charlemont Award from Royal Irish Academy
Dr. Aisling Ni Annaidh, lecturer in the School of Mechanical Engineering, was presented with a Charlemont Award on Monday 16th February. Awarded by the Royal Irish Academy, the Grant is to facilitate short visits to any country to support primary research in any subject area. Dr. Ni Annaidh has chosen to use her award to host an incoming researcher, Dr. Sara Roccabianca from Michigan State University. Together they will begin collaborating on their project entitled ‘Skin Mechanics, Growth & Remodelling: Unraveling The Early Development Of Melanoma’.
