The GradIreland awards were presented at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on Thursday, 30th April 2015 in Dublin's Mansion House attended by 550 of Irelands leading employers, third level careers services and professional bodies. The Postgraduate Course of the Year award, sponsored by the Higher Education Authority is designed to recognise the best Irish postgraduate providers. This award clearly recognizes the scale and diversity of the impact the ME with Business course has had both on the student experience and in its contribution to the Irish economy.
Dr Eamonn Ambrose, course director.
This is a remarkable achievement given the level of competition with programmes shortlisted from the Institute of Technology and University sectors. In deciding the awards, the judges consider criteria such as employability, reputation and innovation.
We wish to congratulate the staff, from the College of Engineering and Architecture and the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School involved in the delivery of the course. In particular, we wish to commend Dr Eamonn Ambrose for his vision and foresight in initiating this programme in 2009 and for his continued hard work and commitment in making this programme a national award winner.
