In the second of a number of planned clinical professorial positions, the UCD School of Medicine has announced the advertisement of the position of Professor of Microbial Diseases / Consultant in Microbiology or Infectious Diseases.  Based at St Vincent’s University Hospital, this new position is expected to build on the University’s extensive expertise in infection, to contribute to academic development within the School and to provide clinical leadership in one of Ireland’s foremost acute hospitals within the country’s largest hospital group.  The closing date for receipt of applications is 29th January 2016.

Exciting Opportunity in Gynae-Oncology

The UCD School of Medicine has announced the first of a number of planned clinical professorial appointments with the advertisement of the position of Professor of Gynae-Oncology / Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.  Based at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and with clinical sessions also at the National Maternity Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital, this new position is expected to provide national leadership in gynaecological cancer care and clinical leadership within Ireland’s largest hospital group.
